ATV Rider Safety course
KEARNEY – An ATV Rider Safety course is being offered to youth and adults on three different dates in August.
The Nebraska Safety Center will conduct training from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 10, 1 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 18, and 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 24. Classes are at the Safety Center’s driving range in Kearney at 1801 W. Railroad St.
Riders will be divided into three groups: children ages 6 to 9, youth ages 10 to 16 and adults age 17 and over. Cost for the three hours of instruction is $50.
Nebraska Safety Center will provide the correct size ATV and helmet for participants, or riders can bring their own ATVs and helmets.
